In 2018, Run 365 launched Medal Dash Virtual Runs, which are themed 5K, 10K, and half marathon events (medaldash.com). These virtual runs can be done anytime and anywhere including around one's neighborhood, at a park, or on a treadmill. Medal Dash recently acquired Virtual Strides — a pioneering company in the virtual run industry — and is now the largest virtual run organization in the country, with more than 450,000 participants as of 2026. They have partnered with many globally recognized brands to produce officially licensed virtual running events with people from all 50 states and 15 different countries.
